BREATH OF SPRING - Public Art Showcase

Full Length Event Video

Created by filmmaker Ryan Uzilevsky with dancer Emery Morgan @mizzz.em and floral artist Peter Sun @the.blossomboy.

This public art piece weaves together human movement and natural form in a story of renewal using hand constructed floral sets with natural elements of local California flora, rooting the work in something alive and grounded, as an ethereal dancer moves through it all — bringing breath, rhythm, and humanity to this interplay of light and living matter.

Inspired by wayward wildflowers growing through the cracks in the concrete, reaching up through adversity and toward the light to express the beauty of their will to live.

Featuring music by @Dirtwire !

Breath of Spring seeds the urban landscape with a celebration of life, renewal, and re-birth. This city-backed installation transforms the PG&E substation into a luminous landmark.

As part of East Cut Electric, San Francisco’s first permanent projection art series, the project re-imagines industrial architecture as a platform for evolving creative works in tribute to each season and amplified by the cutting edge projection technology of @a3visual

Screened nightly From April 10th - June 10th
