We make use of optical illusions to that allow us to explore the world's architecture, and communicate with it, in ways that were never before possible.

With our background in cinema, visual effects and story-telling. We work with detailed concepts and themes to create powerful live experiences.

We are always learning and incorporating new technologies, spending many hours researching and deploying different techniques for greater theatricality and impact.

With the world awash in a tsunami of visual noise, we strive to offer thoughtful inspiration. We respect our audiences, as we inform and educate while we entertain. Join us as we continue to develop a studio practice that honors story telling, spirit, and meaning.

We have extensive experience creating interactive large-scale audiovisual content for top-level events and exhibitions.

The studio could be described as a rare hybrid beast of design, animation, special-effects, engineering, and production.

Ryan Uzilevsky is a Director and Experiential Artist specializing in video projection installation.

He is guest lecturer and research collaborator at NYU Tisch School of the Art,  UCLA's Design Media Arts, and the University of Sydney.

He is a exhibition and film festival curator, a designer, a builder, and the founder / creative director of world renowned multi media collective Light Harvest Studio.

The launch of Light Harvest Studio signified his expansion from traditional cinema, into site specific audio visual performance, and large scale public
media art. Particularly, his current work studies the hybrid relationship between architecture and the moving image.

A focus on the dynamic manipulation of perceived space and the invisible movement that is

suggested within static architectural form. The ability to treat monumental forms as fluid, and vice versa allows great new possibilities to deliver meaningful messages, and tell bigger stories.

Collaboration is the core principle in any large-scale creative production.

Having gun while fun creating accomplishing the impossible!

The studio could be described as a rare hybrid beast of design, animation, special-effects, engineering, and production.

As one of the pioneers of this medium in the USA, having learned directly from the European masters, we have been  transforming the visual environment, and re-imagining architecture in cities like New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Los Angeles for over a decade.

Unlike many of his New Media Art contemporaries, his work does

not represent a departure from the legacy of the built environment,

or call for a post internet digital replacement to public space, rather,
he creatively integrates the deep seeded human
response to classical shape, form, and material.
Working within a context that only thousands of
years of collective human proximity and intimacy
with such forms can truly harbor.
From there, he works with a platform that is familiar
while beckoning the unpredictable. It is in this
suspended state of possibility that audiences can
find themselves grounded, yet vulnerable enough
to absorb and contemplate the meaningful
narratives delivered in the work.
The result is
immersive experiences that allow once
familiar and mundane structures and spaces to
engage in two way communication with the
audience, a communal and dynamic theatrical
experience where the audience is free to wonder in
and around the installation sites. This explorative
freedom becomes a necessary part of an Audio
Visual journey that often takes on complex themes
like mind body dualism, lucid dreaming, spirituality,
and romance.
The future of his work is undefined yet infused with with

great possibility. As technology and creative mediums

advance, he will continue to ebrace new tools that foster

both suspension of disbelief and meaningful reflection on our

deepest human sensitivities.
